OMG! Just found this divine little store called HIDE on Dundas Street in Toronto. We have been looking for somewhere that is, you know original, and HIDE ticked the box. My friend bought a corset belt, the likes of which I've never seen and I got pair of Suspenders, Italian leather which will look great with my Karen Millen and Reiss skinnys jeans.Looking forward to getting it on. Two weeks in Toronto shopping and no joke this is the best designer I've seen, and truly great prices. You can tell she takes great pride in her work just by listening to her talk about the process of how she makes all her gear.You're one of a kind Susana, keep up the good work. Will certainly look for more of your styles on Etsy.P.s. She has a cat and a dog helping her out at the shop in case you're not keen on fur. :0)

I highly recommend visiting this boutique shop. My friend took me to this place in Toronto and I love it! The owner makes all the leather belts and bags. I especially like her suede tote which has an amazing crinkly texture, so much of a fan that I bought it! Plus she has the sweetest cat which is always a bonus :)

I recently snagged the smartest satchel/tote bag from HIDE, so thought it best to pass on the word about the place as I'm now a passionate HIDE wearer.You'd be forgiven for strolling past HIDE without knowing it even existed. Wedged between a very delicious french restaurant and a vacant building is this hidden little gem.The owner/operator/designer/curator Susana is dedicated to showcasing her works of simple bling free, artistically style forward bags/totes, pouches, clutches, belts and wrist jewellery all using leather that I've never seen look this beautiful as a finished product.Her sexy black corset, a creative work of art can be transmorgrified into a shoulder piece worthy of Grace Jone's wardrobe.She has curated Canadian made clothing from designers who know how to style. I get the impression that after 7 years in that one spot her clientele must have been keeping HIDE's jewels close to their chest.A warm welcome awaits anyone looking for that something which will age well with them and doesn't scream fast fashion. Do your style a favour and have a gander.

I stumbled across this small but pleasant shop purely by accident. I thought it was an art gallery and almost didn’t bother until my dog dragged us in to meet the gorgeous, friendly black Lab sat welcoming visitors.Got chatting to the owner, who she says she makes everything with Italian leather - the price was great for such good quality and service. Our accidental visit made me come away with the most gorgeous belt! You won't find anything like this in the UK - such a great find!
